Meet Nicole and Matt! Well as I have said before, I don’t think there is a better place to have your pictures taken than The Hillstead Museum in the fall. I just can’t get enough of this place. I actually have a meeting with the head of the museum next week to discuss a permanent relationship for future endeavors. I am really looking forward to the winter there. I can imaging there will be some great opportunities. Anyway, we had a great time on the grounds. Matt and Nicole are two very sweet people and I’m lucky to have people like them as clients :) Thank you guys for hanging out and taking some great photographs!
As you can see, we had some fun at Matt’s expense!
You could definitely see theirĀ love in their smiles :)
This one is my fave of the day. I just love the whimsical landscape feel.
Okay, before anyone asks me, I used magic Foley dust to get the ring to stand straight up. Chris Angel taught me how to do that!
Meet Adam & Tiffany. These two officially represent the last of my Harkness shoots for the year ending 2009. Yeah, I love Harkness! I loved it 18 times!!! The one thing different about this shoot besides my awesome clients was the time of day we photographed. It’s important to push yourself as a photographer to do things you may not feel comfortable doing, like shooting at 12 noon in the high sun. So I decided to take it head on. I knew this was going to be a challenge, however, with a good looking couple like this one, it wasn’t too hard.
Thanks again guys for hanging out, I can’t wait for your wedding at the Farmington Club!

Next Up: Nicole & Matt
My absolute favorite thing to photograph people in is tall hay grass. Love it!
First off, let me just say that Marie and Courtney are to of the most sweet and in-love people I have ever met. Be prepared to be to be bombarded by Marie’s infectious smile :)
It all started earlier this year when Marie and Courtney drove to my house from Brooklyn, NY to talk about their wedding. I knew we had a connection from the start and they confirmed that by booking me on the spot! Next I got to hang out with the both of them in Brooklyn for their GTKY session. I was super siked because I had never been and Marie told me she would give me the “locals tour” and that she did. Of course we hit the Brooklyn Bridge, which was awesome and then went into the hip neighborhoods. We ate at an amazing Turkish restaurant that had the best baba ghanoush I’ve ever had! Unfortunately, I still can’t remember the name for the life of me (Marie Help!). Anyway, I guess what I’m saying is I had a blast with these two and I knew the wedding was going to be the same. Of course we had rain but they didn’t let it bother them one bit.
As you will see in this post, Marie makes hand made jewelry and has a business called Brooklyn Handspun. Click HERE if you want to check her out. It’s a great gift idea for the holidays for sure!
Thanks again guys for having us share your awesome day!
A special thanks to Andi for shooting this one with me!
Marie was all smiles from ear to ear all day. Seriously :)
Marie also knew how to “work it”. I think America’s Top Model was her favorite show I think.
They had some unique details to really personalize their wedding.
I received an email from Courtney’s mom thanking me for getting pictures of her smiling. I didn’t have to do much to entice her.
This was Courtney and her brother.
Their first look! I thought Marie was going to explode with happiness.
So as I said, here is some of Marie’s work. She made the bouquet! How cool is that?
This shot is one of my faves for the day. I love the feel of anticipation.
So as I walked by this little cutie, she gave me a wink and smiled :)
This next one is my fave of the day hands down.
