A Foley family winter day out.

One of the great things about the "slow" season is I get to spend more quality family time. We spontaneously decided to head out to Tunxis Mead Park in Farmington to let the kids and Luna run around. So naturally the camera came with. Here's a little preview of our day. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, it turned into a bit of a Luna photo session. We figured we should get some photos of here alone before her little brother arrives in May. Yeah, another Vizsla :)

Newborn Photographer: CT. Family Heirlooms

So it all started with the engagement session! It was raining cats & dogs, it was muddy, cold and we were all soaked. Ashlee and Mike couldn't care less. They rolled with it and we all made the best of the shoot. It was at that very moment that i knew they were two genuine people and even more so, genuinely in love. Little did I know, at that very shoot they were keeping a secret :) By the time the wedding came around the secret was out. They were expecting :) Their wedding was at the Altnaveigh Inn, one of my fave spots to dine in CT. and it was everything I thought it would be. The marriage of two beautiful people in love. It wasn't too long after that I received a email from Ashlee asking me to photograph their newborn once he arrived. Now this is why I am in this business. To be able to watch a couple grow in love and family from their engagement to their newborn, I guess you can say I was quite proud. So without further ado, Ashlee and Mike's new family heirlooms.

CT. Family Photographer: The Hill Stead: Farmington, CT.

Welcome back!!! At least that is what I'm telling myself :) I usually take most of the month of January to reflect and project on what was and what will be. 2011 was an extremely successful year for us and we have all of our clients to thank. 2012 is going to be equally as exciting and we have quite a few things happening that you will see come to light very soon. I can't leak any secrets but they are pretty big :) And if you know me, you know I don't like to tease. i just can't let them out until they are done.

So moving forward. I have a few post to catch up on so we are going to start with my Studio Manager's (Caitlyn) family shoot we did this past fall. We went to the Hill Stead Museum in Farmington, CT. for the shoot and the light was incredible, as it always is there.
