Food
So a few weeks ago I had an awesome opportunity fall in my lap. The Marquee asked me to take a few shots of their food from their awesome Chef, Chef Kelly for their up coming promotions. As a Chef myself, saying I was super excited would be an understatement. Beyond photographing weddings, I always said there were two other venues of photography I would love to venture into, sports & food! I am a preferred vendor with The Marquee so I know this may sound bias, but if you are looking for a unique Hartford experience with great food (yes, I did eat all of this food) and great service for your wedding, you have to check them out. Make sure you ask for Jessica & Darren, they will take great care of you!
As some of you may know, I used to be a chef (well I will always be a chef) in Virginia for a 5 star resort. If I wasn’t running around every weekend photographing weddings I would be photographing food (and the Red Sox of course). Food has always been a passion for me and I was super excited to be able to do a promo shoot for Bin 300. Although they seem worlds apart, the two industries have an enormous amount in common. Photography is all about emotion, composition, light, art and texture. Well those all describe what goes into creating masterful cuisine. If your ever looking for a great restaurant and your in the area, you have to check this place out. Chef Richard definitely knows what he is doing.
