Toddlers
Okay, so I’m going a little out of order here but I just had to share. As some of you already know, one of my goals in 2010 is to develop the studio portrait side of my business and take it to the next level. I have always said in order to be successful in this industry, you have to surround yourself with positive and knowledgeable people. One of those people for me is my good friend Craig Freeman. I told Craig I was looking to invest into a soft box and strobe, naturally, he offered to help. He happened to have a soft box from Larson which he highly recommended and he also offered to let me shoot around with it in his studio. So naturally, I couldn’t help but take advantage of the situation to photograph my daughter. Here are a few shots I took with the Larson soft box (which I just purchased along with an Alien Bee Strobe).
Thanks again Craig for all your help!
I do have to say, I am one proud daddy. As much as she can be a little stinker, she melts my heart.

Meet the Ringuette Family! Christine and Steve are good friends of mine so when they asked me to take family pictures of them, I was more than honored. Christine and Steve wanted to start with capturing images of little Machlan in his favorite environment, the New Hartford Library. How cute is this little guy anyway? After that we headed over to Steve’s old house to take a special picture of Machlan for a special announcement. The property was amazing! Then we grabbed a few shots of mom and dad since they were celebrating their fifth year anniversary. Finally we ended up in downtown New Hartford at the church where they were married. So I guess we went full circle in a way, from baby, to announcing baby, to anniversary, to the church. I think?
Enjoy!
Next Up: The Bernier family
Little Machlan.
