Kristine & John, Villa Rosa, Waterbury, CT.

We kicked off our 2010 wedding season on January 23rd with Kristine and John at the Villa Rosa in Waterbury. We were excited to get into the swing of things since we have had a few months without a wedding. As most of us photographers know, there is such a thing as being in “wedding shape”, well let’s just say I need to lay off the Five Guys burgers and hit the treadmill :) I would like to thank Andi Walpurgis and Caitlyn Bouchard for kicking off the season with me. We will have more news on the both of them in the near future! Congratulations Kristine and John!!!

So I wanted to take a different approach to the groomsmen shots. I could not get enough of this stained glass art. It was intense! I wish I knew what all the symbols meant. It’s moments like this one below that remind me why I love photographing weddings. After Kristine and John said I do, John’s dad reached over and gave his son a kiss. The Villa Rosa has a pretty cool room inside with 50 ft. ceilings and awesome lighting. We used a Lowell ID light to illuminate them. And of course, the photo booth!
